Brand History
Off-White is a luxury streetwear brand founded in 2013 by American designer Virgil Abloh, known for blending streetwear, luxury fashion, and art with a distinctive aesthetic characterized by diagonal stripes, zip ties, and quotational marks.
The brand, which began as Abloh’s creative platform PYREX VISION in 2012, explores the “grey area between black and white” and is deeply rooted in youth culture and contemporary art. After its establishment, Off-White gained global recognition and was later acquired by LVMH, with the parent company Farfetch retaining a stake, and is now owned by Bluestar Alliance as of 2024.
